Working with people with learning difficulties in Kings Lynn /West Norfolk

At Forward members are increasingly gaining confidence and realising their potential as they progress towards their chosen goals. Small steps are huge achievements and setbacks turned into positive learning experiences.  Members put a lot of work into their personal development and rapidly begin realising their potential.

• 11 members are now receiving paid employment by working on the reception desk at Forward. 

• Over 25 members have been supported to obtain their bus passes and access public transport

• 6 members that Forward support with independent living skills have now moved into independent living

• 5 people make money from micro enterprises

• 11 members attend Speedway

• 1 person uses the ferry service across the Ouse to attend Forward

• 2 members help facilitate the local Get Involved group and one member takes forward their views to the Locality and Norfolk Learning Difficulty Partnership Board meetings
